Enhanced electric fields, associated with an increase in
convection, have long been a
recognizable feature of storms and substorms in the
magnetosphere. We will show new
data, from the Electron Drift Instrument on the CLUSTER-II
spacecraft, of electric field
signatures associated with these events in the post-midnight
region of the
magnetosphere
