Abstract

The problem of nonlinear waves and structures in magnetized plasma was investigated. Integrals of automodel equations with arbitrary amplitudes were obtained. Two possible types of solitons, compressive and rarefactive, and three types of structures are obtained for cold plasma approximation. A comparison of the exact solution of nonlinear problem and small amplitude approximation solution was performed. It is shown that for intermediate values of angles between wave vector and magnetic field the range of validity for small amplitude solution could be wider then it used to be excepted.
