Small scale Alfvénic structures:
Second working team meeting at ISSI, Bern, 12-17 October, 1998

From rear row clockwise: K. Stasiewicz, B. Gustavsson, C. Chaston,  P. M. Bellan, C. Seyler, C. Kletzing, A. Streltsov, P. Shukla, O. Pokhotelov, and V. Manno (ISSI).

Results of the meeting.
Participants made a review of recent development in the theory of nonlinear Alfvenic structures, simulation results and new satellite observations.

Two papers inspired by the first workshop are in the review process.
 Collaborative works are initiated on:
      - ponderomotive forces
      - Polar - Fast conjunctions of Alfvenic structures
      - magnetic holes at the boundary layer
      - filamentation of plasma in the ionospheric resonator
Ca 10 original research papers should be completed in 1999.

The Team agreed to prepare a review paper and submit it for publication in Space Science Reviews.
